System Development & Operations
We plan, design, and develop learning systems and business systems, mainly in education and corporate training. From both sides — content (learning materials) and systems (the environment that runs them) — we design places where people grow, together with our clients.
Through careful interviews we weigh the external environment (opportunities and competition) and the internal one (strengths and weaknesses), and think from zero about what environment truly serves the client, rather than defaulting to the usual answers. We handle everything from design through development to post-launch operations and maintenance; some systems have now been in continuous operation for more than a decade.
Fields we have worked in
- Design and development of learning management systems (LMS)
- Design of online and correspondence essay-correction systems
- Planning, design, development, and operation of membership learning services
- Manual management systems and call-center business systems
- Design and development of sites and systems for research institutions
Case study: an inquiry-based learning program
Entrusted by a major education company, we have designed, developed, and operated the web system behind an inquiry-based learning program for secondary school students since 2021.
What this program addresses are the qualities an exam score cannot easily measure: how students relate to others, read a situation, and govern themselves while working through a problem as a team. Students answer situational questions and a self-assessment, and the results come back as an individual report. Teachers get not only each student’s result but a view of how the class as a whole is trending.
Measuring is not the end of it. Students reflect on what comes back and carry it into their next activity — the whole arc is one continuous piece. We built the entire mechanism: the screens students answer on, the scoring and generation of individual reports, and the administration and aggregation screens for teachers. It is a case where holding both material-making expertise and system-building skill in one company paid off.
Online Learning Services
We provide learning services and materials of our own planning and development on the web.
Phrase Phrase Me
